Emergency Preparedness Training

The Leadership Pasadena Class of 2013 will be hosting an emergency preparedness training by the Pasadena Fire Department that includes fire extinguisher training, first aid and basic rescue skills, as well as tips on preparing your home and family for an earthquake or other disaster.

A collection will also be held on-site for items that will be used to provide 72-hour survival kits to Pasadena’s homebound seniors. Items needed: flashlights, batteries, first aid supplies, cases of water, lightsticks, nutrition bars, small radios, etc. The collection will go from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Pasadena Fire Department training will be held from 1 – 4 p.m. and sign-ups will be taken that day on a first-come, first-served basis. For pre-registration, please contact the Pasadena Senior Center at 626.795.4331.
